Basic education department resumes recruiting teachers in 51 districts

The HC order was issued on February 6, 2018.A letter to resume appointments was issued by Allahabad-based secretary of basic education council on Monday to basic education officers of 51 districts. The basic education administration has fixed April 27 as deadline for completing the process of appointing teachers. BAREILLY: The basic education department of UP will resume the process of appointing 12,460 teachers across the state except in 24 districts, including Bareilly and Shahjahanpur.The process of recruiting teachers had been initiated under the previous Samajwadi Party regime on December 15, 2016. In case of four vacancies of ST category, only two applicants had appeared for counseling.
