Bareilly: A six-member delegation of Sri Lankan army comprising a captain and five warrant officers who were here as part of their cultural and heritage tour, was felicitated by Commandant JLA, Brigadier Surendra Mehta on Saturday. During their six-day tour, they visited the various establishments and training centres of the Army’s Central Command. The aim of the visit was to develop bonhomie and enhance mutual understanding between the armies of both the countries.The team left Bareilly on Saturday after staying here since July 15.The Sri Lankan delegation was led by Captain WAND Wijewardana and five warrant officers; WHMNK Ranathunga, NGMN Napawala, SMSK Kumarsinghe, DB Rathnasiri and RPT Ashoka..
