With this round of payment, these employees have received their full provident fund. The owners had assured employees that they would resume operations soon but it never happened.Employees were happy to get their provident fund as they had lost all hope of getting it. However, they are yet to get their gratuity and salary for four years.The factory, 30 km from Bareilly city, had suddenly shut operations in December 1999.
