SHO doesn’t conduct autopsy of bodies found hanging, IG orders probe

The body was of 32-year-old local marginal farmer, Sumer Lal. The rope used was suspended from the tree in a loose loop.Locals said Sumer Lal was an alcoholic and his wife had left him many years ago. It was found hanging from a tree outside the village with his legs touching the ground. Jitendra Yadav, the SHO, allegedly did not send two bodies found hanging for post-mortem and handed them over to their respective relatives.According to sources, on Saturday, police recovered a body at village Raniganj Mathna. Herein too the SHO did not to feel any need for an autopsy..
