Man drowns in Ganga, second incident in one week

Bareilly: A 25-year-old man drowned in the Ganga while taking a dip at Rajghat in Babrala village under Gunnaur police station in Sambhal district on Sunday.Police said a resident of Kubari Bhud under Dhanari police station, Sugharpal arrived Rajghat along with his four friends to take a dip in the river. On October 9, Delhi-based Vishan Kumar also slipped into the river while taking a dip at the same spot and drowned.According to locals, 12 people have been drowned into the river over past couple of months due to negligence of local administration..
