Public Works Department begins fixing of damaged roads in Bareilly

BAREILLY: The Public Works Department (PWD), on Tuesday, began fixing the roads that were damaged due to heavy rainfall. Officials at PWD Bareilly said that the department aims to get the repair works done before Deepawali. “ The repairing cost of the roads has been estimated at Rs 4 crore and all damaged roads of PWD will be covered under the repairing exercise. We have initiated our work with Choupla road, one of the most damaged stretches in the city. The department, has initiated with repairing the damaged Choupla stretch and will be repairing five other prominent roads of PWD including— Collector Ganj, Bareilly Mini Bypass-Quila road, Faridpur-Bisalpur road, Bareilly-Mathura Chawni road and Pilibhit road..
