BAREILLY: A 31-year-old Sub-inspector (SI) Shrikant, who was posted in Aonla police station, died in a road accident after the four-wheeler, in which he was on night patrolling along with other cops, rammed into a tree at Aonla- Bareilly road on Saturday morning. Besides SSP Muniraj G, IG DK Thakur and ADG (Bareilly zone) Prem Prakash also reached there. "On getting information about the road accident, we rushed to the spot and sent them to nearby private hospital, where Srikant was succumbed to head injuries.
