Bareilly: The Public Works Department (PWD) will construct a roundabout at Mayurvan Chetna on Pilibhit road for smooth flow of traffic and to check accidents.The stretch has two-way traffic movement and several blind turns that make it accident-prone. PWD had previously planned to widen the road to curb accidents, but now a roundabout has also been included to the project. As it will also connect the upcoming Nath Nagri Civil Terminal (Bareilly airport) with the city, it is likely to experience heavier traffic in time to come. The administration also removed encroachments and hoardings from along the road.
