Four Moradabad teens board train for ‘joy ride’, land 900 km away in Bihar

Moradabad: Out on a “fun ride”, four cousin sisters boarded a local train just to see some nearby villages and return back in a few hours. On Wednesday evening, about 24 hours later, they found themselves at Bacwada railway station in Bihar’s Barauni district, about 900 km from their home.Meanwhile, back at their home, fear was palpable at everyone’s face. After crossing a few stations, they “mistakenly” boarded a superfast train thinking it would take them back. However, little did they know that their adventure will take them all the way to Bihar, about 900kms from their village in UP’s Moradabad.According to police, the minor girls had boarded the train on Tuesday in their Bahagtpur village of Moradabad. Later, they approached police and filed a missing complaint.During the search operation, the police team was told that the girls were last seen at Jatpura Halt, a station where local trains halt briefly..
