No fatwa impact in Bareilly, loudspeaker played during Juloos-e-Mohammadi

Bareilly: The fatwa issued by a cleric from Dargah Aala Hazrat asking people not to play loudspeakers during Juloos-e-Mohammadi failed to make an impact as few groups played music on loudspeakers during the processions taken out on Tuesday and Wednesday. Over hundreds of groups got merged with the main procession and juloos-e-mohammadi culminated at Dargah Aala Hazrat. Few people, who have been opposing juloos-e-mohammadi, played music to defame the procession.”On November 15, responding to query of a local resident, Mufti Mohammad Kausher Ali of Darul Ifta, Dargah Aala Hazrat, had passed a fatwa. Though clerics and social organisations had appealed to people to not be armed with weapons, few persons brandished swords while moving in the processions.Reacting to people violating fatwa, Mufti Saleem Noori of Dargah Aala Hazrat said, “Dargah had passed fatwa considering Shariat.
