They gangraped her at the gunpoint and also robbed her of jewelleries. “The two men, Raghuvir and his elder brother, who were hiding there, dragged my wife inside the field and when she protested, they threatened her with a ‘tamancha’ (a country-made pistol). We identified both the men, who ran away from the scene after abusing us,” said the complainant.On the husband’s complaint, an FIR was registered against Raghuvir and the brother-in-law of the rape survivor for rape and robbery.In his defence, the brother-in-law of the rape survivor stated that he was being framed by the couple owing to a property dispute between them..
