Notice served on 18 schools for not relieving teachers for UP Board exam duty

Bareilly: District inspector of schools (DIOS) has served notice to 18 schools of Bareilly after they failed to relieve their teachers for invigilating duties in the ongoing UP Board exams which started from February 7. It seems that you are deliberately interrupting the UP Board exams which are a priority of the government. These 18 schools had to provide nearly 40 teachers for the exams.In a letter to the principals of these 18 schools, DIOS Manbharan Ram Rajbhar said, “On January 29, we had informed you to immediately relieve teachers who have been deployed for UP Board exams. A total of 93,387 candidates have registered to appear in the Board exams for Class X and XII. Besides, 17 sector magistrates have been appointed to keep an eye on 128 exam centres.Avnish Yadav, exam controller, said, “These 18 schools who have been asked to give an explanation on why not a single teacher has been relieved for the Board exams..
