Bareilly: Bareilly Development Authority (BDA) will soon be undertaking drives across the city to check on illegal practice of running commercial activities from residential units. The yojana was reeling under encroachments by various commercial establishments, shops and local vendors. According to the BDA officials, there are several establishments which have building layout approved in the residential category but are being used to carry out commercial activities. The owners have now converted a part of these buildings to run shops and other commercial establishments.
