‘Operation clean’ for tax officials

more-inFrom their office desk to their homes, over 240 officials of the Central Tax (south commissionerate) will be the flag-bearers of ‘Operation clean’, which was launched on Tuesday as part of the central government’s ‘Swachhata Pakhwada 2018’. The officials took an oath to clear pending files, keep their desk clean, ensure cleanliness in their office surroundings and home, and even places which they visit frequently. As part of the programme, the department is planing to adopt a traffic junction, school and slum, and keep them clean. Amitesh B.
