Orion mall and Mantri malls have put up wirenets covering their glass facade to prevent damage from possible stone pelting. A group of pro-Kannada protesters were arrested near Mantri Mall for blocking the road and trying to stop movie goers from entering the mall. Meanwhile, security has been increased in major malls that house multiplexes. Multiplexes such as PVR and Inox have not issued tickets for the morning shows yet..
