more-inThe Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) will be using Autodesk Building Information Modeling (BIM) for designing and planning construction of Terminal 2 (T2). The second phase – still in the planning stage – will be built to cater to an additional 20 million passengers per annum. The first phase of this terminal will cater to 25 million passengers per annum (MPPA). According to a press release, the BIM, which is a 3D design construction technology, will ensure access of all information from design, fabrication, and construction to operations and maintenance.
