While they were lifting pole to put into in the pit, the end of the pole came in contact with the high-tension wire. Incident took place around 10.30am. Immediately, locals who were present at the spot, took the injured workers to hospital. The contract work was undertaken by Thanvi Electricals.Locals alleged that incident took place due to negligence of MESCOM, who did not shut off power of high-tension wire before taking up the work.
