BENGALURU: A loud bang across west and south Bengaluru on Thursday afternoon triggered panic as residents ran out of their homes suspecting an earthquake . With the news spreading like wildfire, people started running out of their homes in fear.“There were complaints from people in west Bengaluru and other parts about a loud noise, possibly caused due to an earthquake. Some even said it sounded like a massive explosion and that they also felt the tremors . Some construction workers living nearby too ran out of their huts,” he said.Said Rachana Sandeep, a resident of RBI Layout, JP Nagar VI Stage: “I heard a noise in the afternoon.
