HC asks Army engr to vet BBMP pothole claim

He submitted photographs and a status report on the completed work.On instructions from his officer and engineers, Sreenidhi told the court that in seven of 44 wards in Malleswaram, seven wards in Mahalakshmi Layout and four of the 11 wards in Yelahanka, all potholes had been filled up. Sreenidhi submitted that the BBMP had availed the services of IISc’s civil engineering professors GLS Shiva Kumar Babu and Rajiv B Mallick for the execution of the work.In the affidavit filed on the previous occasion, the BBMP had sought three days to fill the remaining 2,172 potholesin the city..
