Hebbal, Shivajinagar roads' makeover in March

“At a recent cabinet meeting, a sum of over Rs 8,000 crore was approved for BBMP work, and Rs 23.5crore will be used for development work in our areas. BENGALURU: Residents of Pulakeshinagar, Shantinagar, Sarvagnanagar, CV Raman Nagar , Hebbal and Shivajinagar can expect relief from pothole-marked roads , worn-out pavements and sewage overflowing from blocked drains as the BBMP is slated to take up development work in these areas in March.Roads in these areas were under the defective liability period till last month. In areas like Doddannagara and on Ambedkar College Road and RMV Club Road, blocked drains are affecting sewage flow,” a BBMP official said.Road development work will be taken up in two packages: one in Pulakeshinagar and Hebbal and the other in CV Raman Nagar, Shantinagar, Shivajinagar and Sarvagnanagar.
