Mysuru nurse booked for posing as doctor

MYSURU: Nearly seven months after a nurse passed himself off as a doctor and prescribed medicines to patients, police have booked him for impersonation and cheating. The action came on a police complaint filed by the Mysuru taluk health officer, Dr Umesh.The case dates back to July 23, 2018, when Jameel Pasha went to a private hospital for treatment. The KPME nodal authority for Mysuru (registration) launched a probe and submitted a report to the directorate of health in Bengaluru. However, Dinesh, a nurse, posed as a doctor and examined Pasha. We carried out an investigation and prepared a report by collecting CCTV footage, pay slips,” he said..
