BENGALURU: The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board ( BWSSB ) on Monday said that residential and other properties in Bengaluru which are yet to install rain water harvesting systems as per norms will get reduced supply of Cauvery water.The move follows a resolution the water board had adopted on the occasion of World Water Day , which was observed recently.As per the BWSSB norms, properties built on 30 ft X 40 ft sites (constructed post August 2009) and all those properties sitting on plots measuring 60 ft X 40 ft and above, irrespective of the date of construction, must have RWH systems.The move to reduce the Cauvery water supply comes after several failed attempts from the Water Board to ensure RWH compliance among property owners..
