BENGALURU: Soon the lights in Cubbon Park will automatically brighten or dim based on the movement of people in the park, the time of the day and the season, thanks to the over 800 smart LED lights fitted with motion sensors and environmental sensors currently being installed there.The lights, which can be monitored from a centralised control system, are programmable according to seasonal variations. The motion sensors will also enable the lights to stay dim when there is no movement of people inside the park, said officials of Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (Bescom), which is executing the smart lighting project in Cubbon Park.On the other hand, the environmental sensors will help the lights dim during long summer days..
