CBI to Karnataka HC: Have formed special team to probe IMA scam

By Express News ServiceBENGALURU: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Monday informed Karnataka High Court that it has formed a multi-disciplinary investigation team (MDIT) headed by an IPS officer to probe the IMA case. Taking note of it, the court directed the officers of the Special Investigation Team (SIT) constituted by the state to probe the IMA case, before it was handed over to the central agency. The court also directed the CBI to submit further status report on October 18. Meanwhile, the SIT submitted the status report into the investigation.
