Siddaramaiah tested Covid-19 negative and discharged from the hospital

Karnataka’s firmer Chief Minister and Congress stalwart Siddaramaiah has recovered from the virus and tested negative in Covid-19 test for the second time.

He is also discharged from the hospital after the recovery, his office informed through a statement on Thursday.

Siddaramaiah was admitted to hospital on August 3 for an urinary infection and subsequently he also tested positive for the coronavirus infection.

On the advice of his doctors, he will quarantine at home for one more week, the statement indicated.
