C Hanumanthappa was referred to Narayana Health City owing to his uncontrollable recurrent VT (Ventricular Tachycardia or very fast heart rhythm originating from the lower part of the heart).

A farmer by profession, Hanumanthappa had history of myocardial infarction (heart attack).
