The main chowk of the village is located on the Malout-Fazilka road and the Abohar-Muktsar road is virtually serving the purpose of a garbage bin. During a visit to the village, it came to know that heaps of trash were lying unattended on the road dividers situated along the chowk. Some local residents said vegetable and fruit venders had a habit of throwing the waste on road dividers.
