Summary:
Sixteen new confirmed cases of jaundice have been reported, putting the total number of patients at 84. As per the Health Department record, blood samples of as many as 216 residents (suspected to be affected with jaundice) of the village were collected in the past one week. Out of the total suspected cases, 84 have been found positive so far. We will check if the victim was suffering from another disease, apart from jaundice.
