The nagar kirtan commenced from Gurdwara Singh Sahib and passed through Qila Road, Old Thana Road, Sirki Bazaar, Sadbhavna Chowk, Dhobi Bazaar, Mall Road, Ajit Road, 100 Feet Road, Power House Road, Court Road and Mehna Chowk. Earlier in the day, singing and painting competitions were organised at Rose Garden as part of the 550th Parkash Purb celebrations.
