Tribune News ServiceBathinda, December 6The teaching learning centre at the Central University of Punjab(CUP) successfully organised MHRD sponsored one-week interdisciplinary national workshop on ‘Pedagogical Challenges in Teaching Social Sciences’ from December 2 to 6. The workshop was conducted under MHRD’s Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya national mission on teachers and teaching and its objective was to enhance the teaching-learning potential of social science faculty. Professor P Ramarao, dean, academic affairs, encouraged participants to develop innovative ways for making social science teaching more effective. Vinod Arya, TLC co-ordinator, shared the programme report of the 14th TLC workshop. Speaking on the occasion, professor VK Garg, director TLC, stated that this workshop had met its objectives and provided innovative strategies and way forward to deal with pedagogical challenges in teaching social science research..
