Teesta rafting expeditionBathinda: A white water rafting expedition on the Teesta river covering a distance of 140 km from Serwani in Sikkim to Coronation Bridge in West Bengal was undertaken by Kargil Rocketeers of Chetak Corps from October 17-20. The expedition team was flagged in by Lieut-Gen PC Thimmaya, General Officer Commanding, Chetak Corps, on November 13 after successful completion of the expedition. The expedition has added another achievement to the glorious history of the unit in adventure sports as the rafting team negotiated difficult terrain, steep gorges and numerous rapids on the Teesta river.
