Madhya Pradesh's tiger released in Odisha's Satkosia reserve

BHOPAL: In a successful operation, a tiger was captured and translocated from Kanha national park in Madhya Pradesh to the Satkosia tiger reserve in Odisha on Wednesday. Officials claim this is the first time that a tiger from any tiger reserve has been sent to another state for reintroduction.The tiger was tranquilised by the wildlife veterinarians of Kanha and Pench tiger reserves, and was measured for different physical parameters.
