He said this condition of Madhya Pradesh is similar to states like Chhattisgarh and Bihar whereas in Chandigarh 78.5%, Punjab 60.7% and Himachal 31% families are affluent. In Bihar, agricultural labourers get Rs 251 per day, in Andhra Pradesh the wage is Rs 291 per day, in Maharashtra Rs 269 per day and in West Bengal Rs 232 per day..
