BHOPAL: In a scathing attack on Congress leader Kamal Nath , chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said on Wednesday that Nath’s ‘decoration’ remark on women is insult to them. This will not be tolerated, he said.Talking to reporters on Wednesday, Congress state president allegedly triggered a row by saying Congress gave tickets to women so that they could win and not for the sake of decoration. The CM said Nath must be aware of the Indian culture where women have been given the highest honour. Just for the sake of quota or decoration, we did not choose that path,” said the Congress state chief when asked about lesser number of women candidates featuring in the Congress list of candidates.The remark by the Congress leader has come as a shot in the arm of the ruling BJP, which demanded the Congress leadership and Kamal Nath apologise for the statement. The party and its leaders seem confused after repeated defeats during last 15 years, he said.The chief minister also attacked Congress for poor development and its failure in providing basic infrastructure to the state..
