BHOPAL: Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) has quietly collected 11hard disks, pertaining to the alleged multi-crore ‘e-tendering’ scam, from Madhya Pradesh state electronics development corporation (MPSEDC) for its forensic analysis.Five scientists, led by CERT’s special director Om Veer Singh, were in Bhopal between December 4 and 7 for this purpose. With experts on the job, this slow-pedalled probe is likely to pick up pace.CERT was constituted as nodal agency in 2004 to strengthen security-related defence of the Indian Internet domain. As major political parties were anxiously awaiting the poll results during that time, the state economic offences wing ( EOW ) kept the CERT team movements in Bhopal a secret.EOW, which was assigned the probe by former chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, had sought technical support from CERT to trace footprints left by the ‘suspects’..
