Indore registry dept collects Rss 200 crores revenue

The Indore district registry department crossed the mark of Rss 200 crores of revenue collection with the end of first quarter of may June and July 2020 and collected around Rss 206 crores for the first quarter which it gets as a registry tax of the land, plots and houses. It is to be noted that Indore which is a business capital of MP and with a population around 40 lakhs is a becoming a business education and medical hub including the international airport and hence more and more people wants to settle in Indore. District registrar Indore Balkrishna Mourya told The Pioneer that there are total 23 sub registrars in entire Indore district located at sub registrar offices at Indore 1 collector office, Indore 2 dhakkan wala kuan, Indore 3 housing board complex, Indore 4 MOG lines and tehsils Mhow Depalpur and Sanwer. All the sub registrars are doing well in the areas allotted to them for doing registries of land plots and houses. The target of financial year 2020-2021 is Rss 1320 crores and already the registry office was closed for 50 days in April and May month of current financial year due to Covid 19 corona slockdown..
