Heavy rain likely in Bhopal on Janmashtami

On the festival of Krishna Janmashtami on August 12, the State Capital is likely to receive heavy rains. In the past 24 hours Jabalpur and nearby regions have recorded heavy rainfall of around 10 cm which several regions recorded good rainfall. The Met department has issued warning of heavy to very heavy rainfall in the next 24 hours in Katni, Jabalpur and Narsinghpur districts while heavy rainfall would be witnessed in Shahdol, Umaria, Annuppur, Seoni, Mandla, Balaghat, Damoh, Sagar, Vidisha, Raisen, Sehore, Hoshangabad, Betul, Harda, Khandwa, Guna, Shivpuri, Gwalior, Bhind and Sheopur. The cloud cover remained during the day and on Monday weather condition would remain same one or two spells of heavy rainfall are likely to occur. During the next 48 hours, heavy to very heavy rainfall in East Madhya Pradesh with light to moderate rain at many places in West Madhya Pradesh and most places in East Madhya Pradesh..
