In Madhya Pradesh, the Congress has fixed the ticket for 24 seats for the by-elections to be held in 28 seats. However, the party is confused about the ticket on four seats. These seats are Mehgaon, Morena, Biaora and Bara Malhara. Among them is the Mehgaon seat of Bhind district, from where the party has not even been short-listed yet. There was a discussion between Kamal Nath and Digvijay Singh on Sunday night about the candidate selection on this seat.

Singh says that ticket distribution is looking at Kamal Nath. In the meantime, the opinion of Dr.

Govind Singh, MLA from MLA from Lahar seat of Bhind district is also known. From Badnawar, the party is reconsidering the candidate. Kamal Patel`s name is believed to be fixed from here, while Abhishek Singh Tinku has been given the ticket. The list of four Congress tickets may be stuck for a day or two. Kamal Nath wants all the leaders to agree on one name, after which the ticket is declared.

The names of two former MLAs, Chaudhary Rakesh Singh Chaturvedi and Hemant Katare, are in the race for tickets from Mehgaon seat.

The names of Rajendra Singh Gurjar, Rahul Bhadoria and Brajkishore Sharma can be considered if both the names are not agreed.

Congress national general secretary Mukul Wasnik has learned his favor by discussing these five and has also expressed his opinion to Kamal Nath.

Kamal Nath met Digvijay only to form a general opinion on the candidate`s name in this seat and discussed on the phone with Mukul Wasnik.

Rakesh Mavai and Dinesh Gurjar are the only two names from Morena seat.
