Five kilometer long electric cable stolen from Umaria Dehat village; Police suspect nexus role

Berasia police have booked miscreants who stole cable measuring 5.5 km from Umaria Dehat village of Madhya Pradesh State Electricity Board (MPSEB) worth lakhs of rupees; police suspect that nexus worked behind the theft and it would done only by a big number of thieves. According to the police from the electric poles cables worth lakhs of rupees were burgled which was around 5.5 km long and at Umaria Dehat village. Complaint was lodged by MPSEB employee Puneet Paliwal and in the initial probe it was found that the cable were of MPSEB and were stolen from the electric poles. The employees of MPSEB have claimed that the cable was worth lakhs of rupees. Police said that a complaint was lodged by Project Manager Manish Sharma, who lodged complaint with the police after construction goods were found burgled..
