Choppers to airlift people of 3 villages trapped in MP flood

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that two helicopters will reach by this evening to rescue people trapped in three villages due to the floods of Parvati river in Shivpuri district. Chouhan took stock of five villages surrounded by water in Shivpuri district from the Situation Room at Mantralaya and also inquired about relief works from the local officials. It is noteworthy that 6 villages Kupwara, Harrai, Akurni, Barkhedi, Chilapai and Raipur of Bairad tehsil of Shivpuri district are surrounded by the flood waters of Parvati river.
