School education department to file caveat in MPHC before transferring surplus teachers

The state cabinet recently gave a nod to the state education department to recruit over 40,000 teachers. BHOPAL: The school education department has on Wednesday decided to file a caveat in the Madhya Pradesh high court , Jabalpur and HC benches in Gwalior and Indore before affecting large-scale transfer of teachers in the state. "This decision is important to us as we have an acute shortage of teachers in rural areas and at the same time we have many surplus teachers who can be accommodated in schools with shortage of teachers. "She said before the teachers move to court with any petition or plea to halt the transfer process, the state government will ensure there is no disruption. "The genuine objections will be resolved and the final list of teachers will be uploaded by April 30, 2017..
