BHUBANESWAR: The higher education department on Monday reconstituted a committee formed on January 31 to identify a suitable land for recommending allotment to the second campus of the Ramadevi Women's University . The government had formed an extended committee recently after Utkal university authorities said that it would be difficult to accommodate the second campus of Ramdevi University Utkal campus had witnessed back to back agitations and demonstrations after the state government decided on January 30 to form a committee to finalize a 30-acre land inside the Utkal University for RDW University campus. Other four members were director of higher education, additional secretary of the higher education department, director of estates of general administration and collector of Khurda district. The committee has five members including the chairperson.University's vice chancellor Padmaja Mishra will head the five-member committee. "The committee may meet whenever it is necessary and submit the report to the government by March 15," said the official notification of the higher education department.The department has dropped the name of the Utkal University vice-chancellor Soumendra Mohan Patnaik from the committee..
