For reasons best known to the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) it has not only abstained from voting in the no-trust motion but the party`s sudden decision to avoid participation in the debate has sown doubts and confusions in public minds.
And it might tempt hacks to ask questions and the questions may be right but, any ethical conflict is strictly between the top leaders of both the parties to bother about, not the ones sitting in the sidelines.

Some State level BJP leaders have attacked or criticised the BJD`s act in parliament as part of a double standard, by taking a hostile posture in Odisha and dealing the BJP with kid gloves in Delhi, as if a sacrilegious offence.
And there are a barrage of questions that the saffron knows what are the answers and so does the BJD.
Anyway, not to be needlessly miser about the truth, both are bound by the political necessities outweighing the other factors appear separating the two on one hand and on the other, few moral inequivalence both tend to overplay like the cosmetic confections menued for leaders at the national level.
It`s a very delicate political balance required to be maintained very carefully by the top ones on either side regardless of the assumptions made by the foot soldiers on both the sides.
The Congress in Odisha while remains suffocated by its own internal problems, the top BJD leadership appears in complete detachment from the storm or hullabaloo created by the local saffron cadre here which is seemingly an easy victim of the bonhomie at the top levels.
