BHUBANESWAR: A three-day national-level undergraduate students' workshop 'Wissen' began at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bhubaneswar on Sunday. It will continue till Tuesday.Wissen is one of its kind and the only workshop for undergraduate students to acquire medical skills in various disciplines. Delegates from medical colleges in Odisha and other states are participating in the workshop to acquire knowledge of basic medical skills. Gitanjali Batamanabane, director of AIIMS Bhubaneswar, inaugurated the event. She outlined the recent advances in medicine and contributions of researchers and engineers towards these advancements.Multiple workshops were held by faculty members of the surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology , pulmonary medicine and orthopedics departments of the institute to impart knowledge to the students..
