15 children rescued from Rayagada station

KORAPUT: Acting on a tip-off, the Government Railway Police (GRP) rescued 15 child labourers, including 11 girls, from Rayagada railway station on Saturday night. The agent fled the spot on seeing our men," said Suvendhu Sabar, sub-inspector of GRP Rayagada.The rescued children are aged between 12 and 16 and were unable to identify the agent. The children were being taken to Nellore in Andhra Pradesh by an agent. "We received an alert about the movement of children at the station.
