SBI to open six new branches in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: State Bank of India (SBI), the largest bank of the country with 23 per cent market share, will open six new branches in the state this financial year. But we will open branches wherever we need. We have business correspondents in remote areas to help rural people,” said Kumar.At present, the SBI has 883 branches in the state. Out of these branches, 522 are in rural centres, 184 in semi-urban centres and 177 branches in urban areas.
