Bhubaneswar: Chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday lauded Odisha Police for fighting Left-wing extremism and maintaining law and order in the state. “I congratulate the Odisha Police for the noble initiative of conducting a state-wide social awareness campaign called ‘Paree’ on child sexual abuse,” he said. As many as 2,000 foreign delegates, including the players of 16 countries, had camped in the state during the international sporting event. Their activities have been curbed to a great extent in the other districts.
