Bhubaneswar: Tapaswini Express catches fire at Puri

Bhubaneswar: Three coaches of Puri-Hatia Tapaswini Express were damaged after fire broke out in S4 coach of the stationary train at Puri station on Friday. As it was an empty train, no casualty was reported.The train arrived at its destination (Puri station) at around 8 am. At 12.55 pm, fire broke out at S4 coach, said railway sources. The station staff, railway protection force (RPF) and fire brigade swung into action to douse the fire. They took more than an hour to control the blaze.East Coast Railway (ECoR) sources said S4 coach was badly damaged, while S3 and S5 were partially affected in the incident..
