Flight services from Jharsuguda resumes

JHARSUGUDA: Western Odisha on Sunday cheered the resumption of flight services from Veer Surendra Sai Airport, state's second, in Jhrsuguda. The first flight of SpiceJet airlines from Delhi landed at Jharsuguda airport in the evening.The inaugural Boeing 737-800 flight, carrying 142 passengers, landed at the airport at 3:40 pm. The flight services will not only reduce time but also save money," said Shaurya Gautam , a flier.Non resident Odias, living in the United Arab Emirates , who had been demanding the flight connectivity, were part of Delhi-Jharsuguda direct flight on Sunday.
