Bhubaneswar: IIT Bhubaneswar celebrated the 73nd Independence Day at its Permanent Campus in the playground adjacent to Mahanadi Hall of Residence. Raja Kumar, the Director, IIT Bhubaneswar hosted the National Flag, offered floral tribute to the Father of the Nation and Bharat Mata and delivered his Independence Day address followed by national anthem sung by everyone in a rhythmic chorum. Raja Kumar, Director, IIT Bhubaneswar addressed the gathering recalling the martyrs and freedom fighters who fought for the freedom and those who laid down their lives.
